United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC is one of the national organizations that certify environmentally conscious developments. Our team is viewed as a primary resource in the construction industry for firms wishing to introduce Green Building elements into their operations.
The USGBC is associated with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) national standard. LEED certification has established registration and certification criteria for all Green Building projects. The LEED rating system is used to calculate the environmental benefits that a structure presents. Based upon a point system, projects are deemed to be Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
