Characteristics
The Detroit Riverwalk is a two-mile pathway and promenade along the Detroit River. This beautiful space is truly a jewel for Detroit and the metro region. It required extensive marine construction, including, shore stabilization, repairs to existing piles and seawalls, and a pile-supported, cantilevered walkway. The site features two pavilions and restroom facilities.
